(NYSE: AOI) today announced the appointment of Michael Shannon as Vice President and Treasurer effective November 1, 2016. Prior to joining AOI, Mr. Shannon was at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Leveraged Finance Group, where he focused on both corporate and financial sponsor transactions in the leveraged loan and bond markets.
Mr. Shannon received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Magna Cum Laude, graduated and qualified as Engineer from the Naval Nuclear Power Program and received an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School (Donald B. Bibeault Scholar). He is a former Naval Submarine Officer having served aboard the USS Toledo (SSN 769) and worked as a Liaison Instructor at the Naval Submarine School.
